RCPL's Homebound Service: Books for Seniors

RCPL’s Homebound Service delivers library books to homebound patrons 60 and older, giving them regular access to reading material. Two RCPL staff members and several volunteers make monthly deliveries to over 180 patrons who can no longer visit the library. 

Homebound patrons have access to the more than 1 million books in RCPL’s circulating collection, including Large Print materials.  Books are hand-selected based on the reading preferences of each individual, with no fees or overdue fines for Richland County residents.
